Honesty Hour had an intriguing premise that at times worked well but other times fell short. I liked the whole layout of the show - how it started with a game of truth or dare, which then lead into the monologues of different, unrelated characters, and then it closed off with the original character. I really enjoyed the monologues from the girl sending in her cat to be freeze-dried and the one about the abusive mother-daughter relationship - the first one for its uniqueness, and the other for its emotional intensity, which I thought was really well acted. The other monologues all had their moments, but I didn't always feel that raw emotion or a sense of vulnerability there, which I think is a must if you're making a show about secrets. Still, the actress seemed comfortable on the stage through it all, and the writing was strong and unique!
