I enjoyed this play: the actors were strong, the setting fun, and the live music really helped set the scene. It felt like the script needed more work (perhaps more suited to a longer format), and the "Black" part of the black comedy never really emerged. The whole story of Ukrainian mail order brides is an interesting one, and I felt that background got a bit lost amid the slapstick. Given all that, if you like goofy comedies, you'll really enjoy this one. Kudos to the cast, especially to the sleasy landlord - the only one in the cast whose Ukrainian accent never slipped!
